Subject: BHS SOCCER - NEW INFORMATION

Hey Soccer Parents - 

Due to Canyon District policy,  booster parents are no longer allowed
to handle ANY money.

So, if you have not yet paid the District Participation fee of $65.00,
you will now have to go to the Brighton Office to pay. 

In years past, I was able to collect and deposit this for the parents
and keep track of each players account - but no longer.

As for the REAL VOUCHERS - this policy will apply as well.   Please
submit your $$$ to the Brighton Office.

PLEASE make sure they know who your son is and be sure to tell them it
is for BOYS SOCCER - we don't want it deposited into any  other
accounts!

To make sure this transition works smoothly please follow these simple
rules:
   
1.  Get a receipt for EACH deposit.

2.  Copy each check -( from all who purchased vouchers.)

3.  Record exact amounts of cash collected.

4.  DO NOT SEND THE $$$ WITH YOUR SON - DEPOSIT IT YOURSELF !

Sorry for the hassle - but we all have to follow this policy now.  If
you have ANY questions please let me know - I'm happy to help.

 Hi Brighton Soccer Parents:
 
Just a quick note about the team dinners.  First of all thank you to
the families who have already hosted team dinners and to all the
parents who have so willingly helped.  My son has enjoyed each one and
always comes home happy and very full.  We have had so many great
parents sign up for the dinners and there are only a few slots left
that I need to fill.  There were several parents who wanted to sign up
at the team meeting but needed to check schedules first.  So I wanted
to post the schedule for all to see and then ask for help with the
remaining slots.  Please email me back if you can help out.  I will get
back to you to confirm.  A note to the hosts...on the day of your
dinners could you please send address info to practice the day of
your dinner so the boys know where to go.  If your home is difficult
to find, could you please also send a simple map?  That would
be appreciated. 
 
Reminder:  The dinner on Monday, March 21 will be rescheduled.  The
Savage family was scheduled to host and I will contact them about
details when I have more info.

Rescheduled MOUNTAIN VIEW GAME

The game that was postponed earlier this week against Mountain View High School will be played on Monday, March 21st at BHS.  Varsity starts at 3:30 pm and JV at 5:15.

The team dinner at the Savage home will be rescheduled...

Game at Copper Hills HS tonight (Friday)

Service Project Tonight

The boys will be meeting at the LDS church on 1834 E. off of Creek Road and Telford to work on their team service project tonight after the game.

Dinner will be served as well as banana splits for dessert.  Don't forget your food assignment if you signed up at the meeting.

Please have your boys bring a pair of sharp scissors to cut the fleece.

The team will meet at Brighton tomorrow morning (South parking lot) at 10 am to carpool over to the Wentworth to deliver their gifts and visit with the residents.

time & location TBA - tying fleece blankets for Wentworth Assisted
Living.

Also - this is VERY important.  We all need to register as volunteers
through the district in order for us to help with the dinners etc.

BHS Soccer Apparel Orders Due

Last call for Soccer Apparel orders...They will be here within 1 to 2 weeks!

Forms and money are due to Allyson Hanks by Wednesday, March 9th. (allysonstoddard@yahoo.com or 801.541.3136.

All options are white with BHS Soccer Logo.  Chose from T-Shirts, long and short sleeved, V- neck T-shirt, full zip hoodie and half-zip sweat shirt.  All choices are available in youth through Adult sizes except the V-neck (adult sizes only)

A great way to show your support for our team!

Paper Work and Participation Fees due by March 10th!

Please make sure to get your pink packet all signed and turned in before the first game.  The HS participation fee of $65 is also due now.  Please note on your check "participation fee".  Make check to BHS Boys Soccer.
